MIDDLE SCHOOL/HIGH SCHOOL ART
Each student K-12 are welcomed into the art room environment with open arms. We strive to provide a space that all will feel welcome and accepted. Our motto is “Be Kind and Stay Weird”
In the high school we work on independence in art as well as outreach to other organizations such as The Memory Project, the library, the food pantry, and Camp Companion. I am always open to new ways to spread our art.
National Core Art Standards are applied in the art room. In elementary we learn the basics of art skills. However, each project students are allowed to personalize their artwork. The goal is for them to always know which piece of art is theirs.
