Welcome to the Riceville Community School District! We are excited to offer an updated facility with faculty who are committed to excellence in learning and improving teaching practices through their professional development.
The Riceville CSD is a small school and a leader in teaching and learning as it provides excellent opportunities for children of all ages PK-12. Riceville is a gem in rural North Iowa, providing many outdoor recreational activities with Lake Hendrichs, bike trails, a golf course, and the Wapsipinicon River. A Health care clinic, hotel services, and retail. Active economic development, low unemployment, and low staff turnover combine to provide a growing enrollment and financial stability, further resulting in high academic/activity results. We have a Daycare inside of the school that is very convenient for our families along with a state-certified preschool for 4-year-olds.

Open Enrollment Details:
The deadline for open enrollment in the district is March 1, 2025, for Grades 1-12. Kindergarten and Preschool special education deadlines are September 1, 2024.
