THIRD GRADE
Third Grade gives students a welcoming environment to experience challenges, engage in teamwork, and develop life long skills to be a contributing member of their community. Clear expectations are set and followed throughout the year in social, emotional, behavioral, and academic standards. We follow the Iowa Core to ensure that all academic standards are being adequately addressed.
Third grade takes a field trip to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum in Burr Oak, Iowa. This field trip ties to reading and social studies standards and is a great look into Iowa history and our ties to a familiar author.
